Bill Priest

Bill Priest is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at New Story. Bill leads the New Story team by championing ethical values and overseeing its legal, risk management and compliance programs.

Bill has served in a variety of legal and compliance roles throughout his career of more than thirty years. Prior to joining New Story, he served as Chief Compliance Officer at Acadia Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest behavioral health and addiction treatment providers. Previously, he was Chief Compliance Officer of U.S. Anesthesia Partners and SouthernCare Hospice, as well as in house counsel for Triad Hospitals, Inc., and Baylor Health Care System. Bill received his J.D. from Washington and Lee University and a B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
